10 May 2007 - West Coast Vancouver Island, British-Columbia : Crew members of HMCS Ottawa stand by the .50 calibre machine gun in full action dress as an enemy aircraft approaches during Exercise TRIDENT FURY 2007 off the west coast of Vancouver Island.

10 May 2007 - West Coast Vancouver Island, British-Columbia : A Sea Sparrow is launched from HMCS Ottawa during a live fire Surface to Air missile exercise involving a hostile air target, a Vindicator drone, during Exercise TRIDENT FURY 2007 off the west coast of Vancouver Island.
Ex TRIDENT FURY is an annual, joint, coalition exercise hosted by Joint Task Force Pacific (JTFP) and executed jointly by Canadian Fleet Pacific and 1 Canadian Air Division. The exercise will involve over 2,000 personnel between May 7-18 2007 from naval, air and land forces from Canada and the United States and will provide the participants with many training opportunities. HMCS CORNER BROOK on arctic patrol during OP Nanook sails past an Iceberg. Operation NANOOK 07 is a Canada Command sovereignty operation taking place in the Baffin Island Coastal and the Hudson Strait areas from 7 to 17 August 2007. During this operation, Joint Task Force (North) is participating in an exercise designed to train the Headquarters in the conduct of domestic operations in support of other government departments in its area of responsibility.

Le 17 février 2002 - Base des Forces canadiennes Esquimalt (C.-B.) - Le NCSM OTTAWA a quitté le 17 février 2002 pour se joindre aux navires canadiens déjà déployés dans la mer d'Arabie, dans le cadre de l'opération Apollo, la participation militaire canadienne à la campagne internationale contre le terrorisme.

Pacific Ocean (June 25, 2004) - The Canadian destroyer HMCS Algonquin (DDG 283) is shown underway in close formation with the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). Algonquin just completed an eight-ship photo exercise with Stennis just prior to participation in Rim of the Pacific Exercise (RIMPAC) 2004. RIMPAC is the largest international maritime exercise in the waters around the Hawaiian Islands. This years exercise will include seven participating nations; Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, South Korea, Britain and the United States. RIMPAC is intended to enhance the tactical proficiency of participating units in a wide array of combined operations at sea, while enhancing stability in the Pacific Rim region.

HMCS Halifax (FFH 330) is tied up at wharf 2 (old sand dock) in port weller harbour. This was one of her stops on the great lakes - May 8, 2007.

Arabian Gulf (Jun. 3, 2004) - The Halifax-class frigate Her Majesty's Canadian Ship HMCS Toronto (FFH 333) cruises ahead of USS George Washington (CVN 73) during a strike group photo formation while operating in the Arabian Gulf. The Halifax, Nova Scotia-based frigate joined the Norfolk, Va. based aircraft carrier on a scheduled deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF).
